Burford – Cotswold Wildlife Park

Open all year round, a great day out for all. Children and adults alike can explore a wide variety of animals within 120 acres of landscaped parkland and gardens. Picnicking areas, cafeteria, adventure playground and a narrow gauge railway which takes you round the park.

Their iconic flagship location is surrounded by clover-rich pastures where our organic animals roam freely.

Fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs are picked each morning from the Market Garden, which is just steps away from their award-winning farmshop & café, kitchens, Bakery and Creamery.

The farmshop offers many browsing opportunities, from our Zero Waste Pantry where you can fill your own containers to the stunning collections in our Homeware and Garden spaces.

Beyond the farmshop, you will find the Bamford Barn, Wellness Spa, Workshop, Cookery School and of course several options for indoor and outdoor dining and drinking throughout the day and into the evenings.

Bourton on the Water – Birdland

A natural setting of woodland, river and gardens inhabited by over 500 birds, flamingos, pelicans, penguins and cranes in various water habitats. You can also find a cafe, picnic area, play area and gift shop on site. Open all year round, except Christmas Day.

Award-winning museum, for all ages! One of the UK's best collections of cars, motorcycles, toy collection and motoring signs. Home to Brum, from BBC TV, see where the show is filmed and a chance to meet him! Interactivities throughout. They’re open February through to November.

Chedworth – Roman Villa

Set in wooded Cotswold Combe, the site was excavated in 1864 and retains a Victorian atmosphere. Over a mile of walls survives and there are several fine mosaics, two bathhouses, hypocausts, a water shrine and latrine.
The museum houses objects from the villa and also has its own gift shop and café. They’re open March through to November

With one of the finest and most extensive Roman collections in the country, where Roman Britain comes alive, visit the Museum and step back in time! With a lovely Roman garden, you can marvel at stunning mosaics and experience what it would have been like to be a Roman soldier. The opening times change dependant on the time of year but are generally open every day of the week.

Cotswold Farm Park

Home of Adam Henson, a rare farm treat for all the family, offering the chance to meet over 50 breeding flocks and herds of farm animals. Experience the countryside with seasonal demonstrations, with an adventure playground, Touch Barn, Fun Barn, and Maze. Sherborne Estate and Lodge Park

A national Trust preserved area, Lodge Park is a unique example of a 17th century deer course and park. The grandstand, an ornate stone building dating from 1634, has been extensively restored. It provides fine views of the course and surrounding parkland.

Family walks or indeed strolls with your four legged friends, on the Sherborne Park Estate, there’s plenty of county side to explore. The National Trust work closely with the community to create sculptures which are dotted round the estate and embedded into the natural scenery.

Hook Norton Visitor Centre and Brewery Museum

The brewers craft has many secrets and some of these are on view at the Hook Norton Visitors Centre and Brewery Museum. The Visitors Centre is housed in the original malting that were bought by John Harris in 1849. Sitting in its beautiful, mellow Cotswold Hills landscape, Hook Norton is a proudly independent and passionate family business that takes the very best of its handcrafted brewing heritage and combines it with a thoroughly modern approach, to create a range of real ales for today’s drinkers to enjoy.

Oxfordshire Shooting School – Enstone

At The Oxfordshire Shooting School they are committed to providing the highest standard of service and products, as well as offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Their 'state of the art' shooting ground is open to all, catering for complete beginners to the experienced shot. Their team of friendly, knowledgeable instructors are available for novice, experienced and group coaching. The ground regularly hosts open shooting events throughout the year, as well as monthly CPSA registered shoots.
